Thanks to @maxibanki the installation worked like a charm. He added the right folder to the PATH-variable and so the command could be found by the script. If everyone gets similar errors in the future. Thanks to everyone helping me so much. Have a happy new Year in a few days:)

I only missed the 's' in the post, I copied everything to the console root@vmd12916:~# update-ca-certificates bash: update-ca-certificates: command not found root@vmd12916:~# apt-get install -y update-ca-certificates Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state...

Hey, yes I have done the update, no errors. ca-certificates was installed, checked it: apt-get install -y ca-certificates Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done ca-certificates is already the newest version (20170717~17.04.1). 0 upgraded...

Ok I fixed this error in the meantime, but I got a new one when I run the script: /dev/fd/63: line 688: update-ca-certificates: command not found I thought about installing it, but there is no package named equally apt-get install -y update-ca-certificates

Thanks for your quick help, I think you're perfectly right because I did not update anything:confused: I just ran the command but got an Error while processing ntp, after that the script showed the same error

Hello helpful folks, just tried to install sinusbot on a fresh root server with Ubuntu 17.04. The script is getting stuck at "Installing necessary packages. Please wait..." every time.
