Wenn du mit PuTTY auf dem Server bist, dann in den Einstellungen den Scrollback Buffer erhöhen.

Starte mal:

Code:

ulimit -n 8192

Und schau danach den Wert mit ulimit -a, Zeile "open files" nochmal an. Der sollte dann auf 8192 stehen.

DIREKT danach (also nicht im neuen Screen o.Ä.) den Bot nochmal starten und versuchen, ob's hilft.

beim crash ist der bot abgeschmiert und hat den screen geschlossen. und die Bots haben einen timeout bekommen aufm TS

Dass der screen geschlossen wird sollte NIE passieren. Da beschneidet das System arg deine Ressourcen (das ist auch die Meldung beim instance/fork).

Das ist der Knackpunkt: da versucht der Bot den TS client zu starten und das System sagt: "nope". Das müsstest du ggf. mit deinem Hoster klären.

what should i do now ? Es hat ja vorher auch funktioniert, also Monate vorher mit älteren Sinusbot Versionen und da hat ich 6 Bots aufm Server. Mit dem selben Anbieter.

Es kann durchaus sein, dass ältere Versionen den "open files" counter (dahinter verbirgt sich mehr als nur "offene Dateien") nicht so arg hochgezogen haben, neuere aber schon. Jeder zusätzliche Bot erhöht das wieder um fast denselben Faktor. Grundsätzlich sind das keine enormen Werte, aber Hoster, die zum Teil ihre Maschinen extrem überbuchen, versuchen verständlicherweise halt zu verhindern, dass Prozesse unnötig laufen und Ressourcen verschwenden.

Die Sache ist halt die: solange der Prozess selbst nicht aus irgendwelchen Gründen in einen Berserkermodus verfällt (und das ist in der Geschichte des Bots noch nicht vorgekommen), kann man an Fehlern vom System bezgl. Ressourcen von uns aus nicht viel machen. Da muss der Hoster ran und sich das im Einzelnen ansehen.

(Der Hoster hat bei OpenVZ eine Statistik-Tabelle, genannt beancounters, in der steht, was am Limit war, als es abgelehnt wurde.)

Was sollte ich im Support Ticket reinschreiben, sodass ich mehr Leistung in der Virtualisierung erhalte ? Weil 12GB RAm und 6 Cores dennoch schlechte Leistung durch Verringerung der Virtualisierung ist doch beschiss oder nicht ?
