A first preview of the unlimited version of SinusBot can be found in the Upcoming Changes thread. A version for Windows will follow, but we don't have a release date, yet.
If anyone gets the issue "Signature extraction failed", here is a fix for Linux:
1. Connect to your VPS via SSH or open up a terminal
2. Type sudo youtube-dl --update
3. Restart the bot
Should work.
If a bot isn't connected to a server (the on/off button is orange) the whole window should dim down and become nonreactive so people don't get confused.
With the new update, I have been experiencing lagginess when listening to music. I am using a VPS with Debian 7.
Maybe it is something to do with the fact I haven't updated the plugin? I don't know how to.
Would be good if you could request in two ways:
1. Someone says !request [link] and then the admin gets a message. The admin can accept or deny this request. It can either be played immediately or be added to the queue.
2. When someone wants to play a song, it is added to the back of the queue...
There should be a sorting system where you can view music by albums, artists etc and it automatically puts them into groups. Also there should be some kind of metadata system like shazam where it detects what song it is and adds the tags.
You should get a message from the bot when you try to command it and you don't have the appropriate permissions. You should be able to customize the message.
I think that you should be able to queue a youtube video using !queue <youtube link> and also have a setting to allow anyone in the teamspeak to be able to use the commands, so you don't have to make accounts for everyone to give them permissions to use the commands. Or give people permissions...
When I press stop/use !stop, the music doesn't stop. The next song just plays. Can we get a way to toggle pause so we can stop music and then start from the same place later?
