Hello forum,

i'm having a lot of trouble playing back an Icecast stream of mine (Source, Icecast and SinusBot are running on a VPS). The source is a gstreamer client broadcasting a 44.1kHz, 160kbit/s lamemp3 signal with a (seemingly, read on) identical silence.mp3 as a fallback-mount. I can add the stream to SinusBot but when trying to play it back i get "Error, Could not playback the selected file / stream."

HOWEVER! SinusBot has no issues playing back the fallback-mount (silence.mp3)! It also has no issues playing similar (if not same) encoded radio stations! Then again, running VLC on my own computer and playing back the normal stream works perfectly.

I will append any information that's asked for :) If you have an Icecast yourself I'd be happy to try it out on my SinusBot and vice versa! (I won't post links publicly)

Hallo Forum,

Could not playback the selected file / stream."
