Hi forums,
any tipps on how to reduce delay / buffering of streams when listening with SinusBot?
I'm hosting my own stream from my computer and sending it to an Icecast server on my VS which also hosts SinusBot and a TeamSpeak server. Since i got a good computer, fast internet (~24ms to the VS) and a simple encoding setup (96kbit/s lamemp3) it should be possible to reduce the delay from currently 7 or more seconds. I've already turned off the burst buffering in Icecast which reduced the delay from 10-11 secons to 7 or more.
When i host Icecast myself and listen with another device in my network i can achieve about 3 seconds of total delay. Maybe there is a buffering setting inside SinusBot?
Any advice is appreciated =)
Regards, Daniel
