EN Timer 0.5 second

Hello,
As said in the title, I would like to create a script that executes every 0.5 seconds.
L'Event "timer" will execute all one second :/

Fonction setTimeout(..... ,500) is not defined.

How to do ?

That's not possible, yet. setTimeout and setInterval are not ECMAscript but mere additions of the browser engines (belonging to window).
Sooner or later I may add an own setTimeout-implementation, not sure about it yet.
What exactly are you trying to achieve?
