Which captcha is best to stop bots on my website?

Hey guys, need some advice on bot protection! My website has been getting tons of spam registrations and automated form submissions, the database is getting filled with junk contacts. I want to add captcha to registration and contact forms but not sure which one to choose. There are different options - image verification, logic puzzles, human verification checks. It's important that real users can easily pass through while effectively stopping bots. The site is on WordPress if that matters. Who has implemented captcha on their projects, what would you recommend?

Bot protection is crucial for maintaining a clean database and preventing spam submissions. The key is finding the right balance between security and user experience - you want something that effectively blocks bots but doesn't frustrate real users. Image verification tends to work well but can be annoying for users, while logic puzzles might be easier for humans but also easier for advanced bots to solve. For WordPress sites, you have several plugin options that integrate well with different captcha services. The most important factors are reliability, ease of integration, and low friction for legitimate users. I'd recommend checking out this service: http://xcaptcha.com/. They offer good bot protection while keeping the user experience smooth, and their integration with WordPress is straightforward.
