youtube-dl not available

Hi, I have the latest version of the SinusBot 1.0.2! However, when I want to play a YouTube video, this is all I get:

I have installed yt_dlp instead of YouTube-DL, and also configured

they response with update and version


YoutubeDLPath = "/usr/bin/yt-dlp" is 120% ok

EDIT: i use exact this string that ive posted: YoutubeDLPath = "/usr/bin/yt-dlp"

try to log into your sinusbot user (su USERNAME), within the commandline and try the /usr/bin/yt-dlp command again, pls try also simply yt-dlp without any slashes or something

Therefore you can look into Webinterface at uploadpage there is a message, with error you got - after you tryed to send your bot a link. Try to send him !ytdl https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bu49hnJn2o0 you got an error ? Can you post them ?

ok the user sinusbot have to integrate to sudo´er list.

usermod -aG sudo YOURUSERNAMEFROMSINUSBOT

btw you steer your linux not with the user root right ?

put your "standard" user also into sudo list
