youtube.dl not working

[zoffin]

youtube-dl seems not to work for me. The webinterface just says youtube-dl not available. The bot however responds with ✅ done! after receiving my command.

The command works fine in my terminal - also for the correct user wich is "sinusbot" in my case.


I also should have set the location correctly in my config.ini.


I did notice my command gets logged with the [URL] tags around the YouTube link but I don't know if that's correct and if not how I can get around this problem.

Try sudo chmod +x /bin/youtube-dl

Do not override the permission of bin files!
Maybe set chmod +x
And in this case it's under /bin/!
