Is it possible to run a TS3 Client headless

Hi,
I'm owner of a TeamSpeak 3 Server. I use CentOS 7 (7.2), it's my favoured server distribution. I was wondering if it is possible to run a TS3 client "headless", without GUI. My server isn't that powerfull and I don't want to waste system resources for a desktop environment just to run the TS Client.

Has someone achieved this yet?

The Teamspek Client does not support this feature. The Sinusbot I think starts a fake desktop environment, where the ts3client runs.
