m3u8 extension is not a valid stream

Why can't i add any of the radio stream url with .m3u8 extension?

The error I get: "The provided URL could not be recognized as a valid stream. Sorry."

Anyway this is an example of stream url: http://radiom2o-lh.akamaihd.net/i/RadioM2o_Live_1@42518/master.m3u8

this extension isn't supported and it probably never will be because a .m3u8 file is a playlist file not a audio file. It contains plain text with references to multiple audio sources.
