• Happy New Year everyone! A new version (1.0.0-beta.16) is out for Linux, fixing an issue that could lock the bot up when using it with TS3. Please visit the resources section or the main page (https://www.sinusbot.com) for the new package.

Newly installed sinusbot doesn't play sound

When I try out youtube through !yt, it executes the command but no sound at all... I've installed sinusbot before on other VPS'es and never had any problems. I firstly installed TeamSpeak 3.5.6, no sound, so I downgraded it to TeamSpeak 3.5.3, but still no sound.

Also, I remember in the past, the bot used to say something like: "Downloading youtube video" and then after this another message that it was playing it or something, did this get removed? (EDIT: found the option in the scripts to get a message after a command)

Found this in the client log file:
libpulse.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

EDIT: After fixing libpulse.so.0 (by `sudo apt install pulseaudio`) I got the next error in the TeamSpeak client log:
2022-01-11 22:30:48.869791|ERROR |SoundBckndIntf| |/home/sinusbot/TeamSpeak3-Client-linux_amd64/soundbackends/libpulseaudio_linux_amd64.so error: NOT_CONNECTED
2022-01-11 22:30:49.373832|ERROR |SoundBckndIntf| |/home/sinusbot/TeamSpeak3-Client-linux_amd64/soundbackends/libpulseaudio_linux_amd64.so error: NOT_CONNECTED

Trying to fix this now.

EDIT2: Also got this fixed by starting the pulse-daemon
[email protected]:~$ pulseaudio -D -v
I: [pulseaudio] main.c: Daemon startup successful.

What I don't understand is why the TeamSpeak client log file says:
2022-01-11 22:49:13.414215|INFO |ClientUI |1 |Ignored text message by Zkitzo: !yt https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTw9LRFdUeE
