Sinusbot (Docker) won't connect to Teamspeak (Docker)

Hey,

im running Sinusbot in a docker Container and Teamspeak in another Docker container and im trying to connect to the Teamspeak Server which doesn't work.

I did try different IP-Addresses like 127.0.0.1 or 0.0.0.0 or the external IP.

Here's the log. Any idea what could be the issue here?

Okay, i tried the ip address that docker gave the server:

172.17.0.4

That worked. I'll leave that here in case everyone faces the same problem.

Above solution works but have to make sure they are connected to the same docker network otherwise sinusbot container cannot ping the ts3 server.

Just check the network the ts3 server is running on. Then add the same network to sinusbot. docker inspect <container_id> will help you to find the network it belongs to.

a tip from my own, to manage docker and understand docker - this Software,
https://docs.portainer.io/v/ce-2.9/start/install/server/docker
it is very small, and you get a gui with that you can change docker networks, volumes container on the fly.

same as @kazaarSL look that your running containers are in the same network, than you can use 0.0.0.0 or 127.0.0.1
