Bug Bot won’t start (CloseListener) / Radio File corrupting

Hello!

My bot will instantly close itself with "CloseListener". When I afterwards start it the second time the data/radio.json is corrupted. I have to delete it then.

The bot ran perfectly two days ago. Webinterface is online.

Clicking on the "on" symbol in the interface results in two "CloseListener"-messages.

I narrowed it down a bit for the dev.

The previous stable works, so it’s not the ts3 client, xserver, or something else. Copied the plugin/libsoundbot_plugin.so as always, of course.

The ts3 client will get the "voiceloop quit" error whenever i use the current libsoundbot_plugin.so, it seems! Beta 0.9.9-98d0cd5 and older works!

In the newer versions of SinusBot you have to use only ./sinusbot.

Yes. You are quoting how i start the ts3client, not sinusbot. Please read carefully.

Problem is the current libsoundbot_plugin.so! Leading the ts3client to "voiceloop quit"!

No, you read carefully, clear everything and install the latest beta of sinusbot located @ https://forum.sinusbot.com/resources/sinusbot-beta.3/ the binary changed from "ts3bot" to "sinusbot". With this, there is no need for xinit. Follow the instructions on that resource and there should be no problems, this does NOT install the teamspeak client, but you should be able to do that yourself.

If this is too confusing, then use a user friendly script to install sinusbot: https://forum.sinusbot.com/resources/sinusbot-installer-script.58/

EDIT: The instructions are literally in @iTaskmanager 's signature, but still read the resource.

Man, just don't skip my text because you read "xinit"! I know you get a lot of shitty requests from clueless people, but in my first post everything is correct. Probably you read "xinit" and skipped the rest.

Of course I start the bot with with ./sinusbot and without xinit.

My original post is an accurate and a clean bug report. When you take a look at it you will see that I start the ts3client with xinit, what you have to do in order to use it.

I did that for debugging puropses, so I can track it down for you. I tried to see if the problem may be the ts3client. I use the newest version (3.0.19.4). And yes. It turned out the libsoundbot_plugin.so from the current sinusbot beta is bugged. This is all in my first post.

The bug exists with older versions of the ts3client as well.
I use the amd64 binary of the ts3client.

The libsoundbot_plugin.so is bugged for me in the last 3 or 4 sinusbot betas.

The plugin is not bugged, but rather something in your setup. I too use the amd64 version, and I haven't come across a single issue.

Your config.ini is missing a lot of options that are in the latest version.

Shut down the bot and replace your config.ini with just this

Okay 11 posts now in this thread but no help, while everything was explained in my first post. Although you were very good about responding quick for being sarcastic and skipping over my text. (Y) I guess it may be my pulseaudio version or something like this, but I will have to debug this by myself now, I guess.

Do you get that every time you start the bot?

Usually that message above will only be triggered once you start the client (from inside the bot) for the first time. That's why I ask.

Not actually the problem / normal if you run the client without the bot.

Having seen the logs, it doesn't look like the bot's been able to run the ts3 client at all. How did you install the bot? Have you checked for already running bot instances / killed them manually, if / rebooted the server?

Lul. I just can find the reason for it, but not a solution. that's a big difference

Hallo,

ich habe das selbe Problem nachdem ich meine VM neu gestartet habe starten die Bots nicht mehr wenn man auf Start im Interface geht die Seite hat einen kleinen Laden Balken oben der ca. 5 - 10sec brauch beim durch laufen und in der log.txt steht dann:

Ich habe darauf hin mal TeamSpeak und Sinusbot Clean Installiert und der selbe Fehler kommt dann immer noch was mir aber heute auch aufgefallen ist das der Stream von Radio Sendern immer mal wieder extrem gelaggt hat und zum teil auch gar keine Verbindung da war wo keine Übertragung gab.

So an den Files liegt es nicht irgend ein Update bei Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS sorgt dafür das bei mir Verbindungen zum Netzwerk nicht mehr Funktionieren aktuell sehe ich den Baum im Wlad nicht zu dem Fehler....
Irgend wo habe ich ein Fehler im RX packets was die folge hat das zwar SSH/Putty/http/https ect. alles Funktioniert aber das der Bot keine Verbindung zu den Radio Stream aufbauen kann und der Befehl wget kann keine domains ect. auflösen kommt netzwerk error

Update this work for me:

The DNS server seems out of order. You can use another DNS server such as 8.8.8.8. Put nameserver 8.8.8.8 to the first line of /etc/resolv.conf
